How do the changing pad's three heat settings work?
The Wumby heated changing pad has three heat settings. You can set the pad to 31, 34, or 37 degrees. If three lights are on, the changing pad will be 37 degrees. If two lights are on, the changing pad will be 34 degrees. If one light is on, the changing pad will be 31 degrees. When you turn on the pad, it starts immediately at the hottest setting.

Why doesn't my heated changing pad feel warm?
The Wumby heated changing pad is designed to warm your baby, not the air. So, if you touch the pad with your hand, it may feel as though it isn’t warm. By applying light pressure, you’ll notice that the warmth slowly begins to penetrate. So the heating only really comes into its own once the Wumby heated changing pad is in use.
Can I use a changing pad cover?
You can, but you don’t have to. The outer cover is wonderfully soft and easy to clean. However, Wumby comes in a standard size, so in principle, any changing pad cover will fit over it. So you can choose for yourself whether you want to use a cover or not!
My heated changing pad isn't getting warm across the entire surface?
Yes, that's right! The heating element is located in the center of the pillow, so your baby's body—from the neck all the way down to the bottom—is warmed exactly where it's needed. Heating the edges of the pillow would only result in unnecessary energy consumption, since your baby won't be lying there
