The story behind Wumby
In 2021, the founders had become proud parents. Their little one loved taking a bath, but getting out of the bath wasn’t exactly their favorite activity. The temperature drop from 37 degrees to 21 degrees made the baby feel cold. And the baby made sure to let everyone know! Tears were streaming down while Mom and Dad tried to dry and dress the little one as quickly as possible. This had to change, Mom and Dad thought.
The solution using the first product
In a moment of inspiration, we came up with the first Wumby product: aheated changing pad. We quickly built our first prototype. And guess what? It worked perfectly! No more tears or discomfort after a bath, just a wonderfullywarmandcomfortableplace to lie while drying off and getting dressed. The heated changing pad offered a much more relaxed experience—not just for the baby, but definitely for us, too. We quickly decided to go all in and help other parents with this problem by bringing Wumby to market.

In 2024, we expanded our product range with the baby wipe warmer. This product complements the heated changing pad and fits seamlessly into our "Changing Comfort" philosophy!
