A heated changing pad. Sounds like a great idea! Doesn’t something like that already exist? We heard comments like this all the time when we shared our idea with friends and family. Anyone with (grand)children knows: babies get cold when they get out of the bath, when they’re being changed, or when they need to put on clean clothes. And let’s face it, no one likes it when the little one is crying after just enjoying a warm bath. Do you ever find yourself at a loss because you don’t know what to do? Babies aren't very good at regulating their own body temperature. So you can imagine how they feel when they suddenly go from a nice warm bath at 37 degrees to an ambient temperature of 20 or 21 degrees… They don't like that at all!
To make the moments after a bath, during diaper changes, and while dressing your baby much more comfortable, we created the Wumby heated changing pad. The changing pad features a 12V low-voltage heating element with a thermostat set to 37 degrees. This keeps your baby nice and warm and safe during moments that would otherwise be cold and stressful.
